"La La Land" e "The Night Manager" em grande nos Globos de Ouro

A associação de jornalistas estrangeiros em Hollywood apresentou esta noite (madrugada em Portugal), no Beverly Hilton Hotel, em Hollywood, a 74ª edição dos Globos de Ouro que deu a conhecer os vencedores dos seus prémios anuais, nas áreas do cinema e da televisão.

Entre os dramas, "Moonlight" foi o melhor filme, Casey Affleck o melhor ator e Isabelle Hupert a melhor atriz. Nas comédias e musicais, "La La Land" ganhou as sete categorias onde fora nomeado, incluindo melhor filme, realizador (Chazelle), ator (Reynolds) e atriz (Stone) um resultado recorde que não se repetiria entre as séries de televisão onde tudo foi mais repartido. Ainda assim, a minissérie "The Night Manager" conseguiu quatro triunfos - melhor minissérie ou filme para televisão, melhor ator (Tom Hiddleston), melhor ator secundário (Hugh Laurie) e melhor atriz secundária (Olivia Colman).

Jimmy Fallon vestiu a pele de um anfitrião alegre e otimista. Na abertura, uma grande encenação previamente filmada incluiu canções e uma coreografia que envolveu alguns dos nomeados, tudo inspirado em "La La Land".

O monólogo no arranque da cerimónia incluiu críticas ao sistema eleitoral norte-americano, referindo-se aos Globos de Ouro como um dos poucos lugares no país onde ainda se honrava o voto popular. Como esperado, Trump, o presidente eleito, foi um dos alvos das piadas de Fallon - "como seria se o Rei Joffre de 'A Guerra dos Tronos' tivesse sobrevivido? Ficaremos a saber em 12 dias..."

Quest Love, da banda The Roots, que acompanha Fallon no seu talk show da NBC, esteve em palco no papel de DJ - temporariamente substituído por Julia Louis Dreyfuss numa das pequenas rábulas que foram pontuando a noite.
