"Game of Thrones" na frente das nomeações para os Emmy Awards de 2016

"Game of Thrones" liderou novamente em quantidade as nomeações para os Emmy Awards com um total de 23, seguido de perto pelas 22 nomeações da minissérie "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" e de "Fargo" com 18.

Entre as novidades na lista deste ano contam-se as comédias "black-ish" e "Master of None" e os dramas "Mr. Robot" e "The Americans" que também contam os protagonistas Rami Malek (Mr. Robot), Keri Russell Matthew Rhys (The Americans) pela primeira vez entre os finalistas.

A apresentação dos nomeados para a 68ª edição dos Emmy Awards teve lugar a partir do a partir do Wolf Theatre, em Los Angeles e esteve a cargo dos atores Anthony Anderson e Lauren Graham, acompanhados por Bruce Rosenblum, CEO da Television Academy.

Os prémios da academia norte-americana de televisão distinguem anualmente o que de melhor se fez neste setor ao longo dos 12 meses anteriores. A escolha será efetuada a partir de 15 de agosto pelos mais de 20 mil membros votantes da academia. Pela primeira vez, a votação será exclusivamente online.
